Hi there! What a week I am having. My little sister and I went to the Arbuckles of Oklahoma to see my mom and her husband’s new house on a lake. We visited Chickasaw National Park and played in the springs with my children. I have to say, it was quite beautiful, the prettiest part of Oklahoma as far as I can remember. We were happy to be back in Texas yesterday and my visit seems to be filling up with more and more plans. It is a great way to spend time while I am waiting for my husband to return from deployment.
I mentioned to you earlier that I would show you a little bit of Seattle, so here are a few pictures of my visit to the Chilhuly Glass exhibit.
The artist Dale Chihuly is a Washington native but his art is featured around the world, you will probably recognize his works.
This is the first room of the exhibit, it was just breathtaking…
Each room after had equally intense, breathtaking displays.
Here is a close up of the massive ocean themed piece.
Who is that silly girl in the next picture?
The boats might have been my favorite!
There was also a garden with many of his sculptures located just below the Space Needle.
Just a little eye candy for you today! I hope you enjoyed it and if you ever have the opportunity to see some Chihuly glass you will not be disappointed.
