Greetings!  I’ve been wanting to pop in to share my monthly subscriber freebie and plans for this year.  I love the idea of choosing a word for the year rather than resolutions (but I do them too!) and decided to share it with you. 

So this month’s printable art is for this tradition and comes in two designs.  One with my word for the year and the second is blank so you can fill in your word.

January is a great time to rethink our goals, set new objectives, and see how far we’ve progressed the last year.   And boy oh boy, is this year new for us in so many ways. 

The big thing is my husband retiring from the USMC after 20 years and returning to school and our family moving from Japan to TX.  We have really had to rethink our purpose and specifically for me, I’ve been using these changes as an opportunity to refocus my blog’s branding and business plan.   

The principles are the same but I want to fine tweak exactly what I want its purpose to be and make sure I’m providing educational and inspirational content to you! 

So my word for the year is FOCUS.  I want to stay organized and on track with my business and personal life to meet objectives within set deadlines.  Working for yourself at home can be tricky in this regard with so many distractions at the house. 

I plan on printing out this inspirational print to be a visual reminder to remain motivated and focus on the task at hand.  You can use mine or print out an additional blank botanical art print if you want to fill in your personal word.
