Art Around the House
Hi there! Last week I shared Fred the Flamingo (as a DIY acrylic painting or free printable) and realized I have never shared my personal art around the house with you! In my undergrad I minored in art but most of my paintings are with different family members and friends. These are a few remaining pieces that I have done over the last 10 years.
Oil painting

Watercolor
Batik (the art of dying fabric and saving the color with wax)
Batik
Acrylic
Interestingly enough, we have so much art around the house that most of these aren’t even currently displayed. I mean, where would you hang a naked peacock lady? 😉

Please tell me you have photos of all the paintings that went to friends and family!
I might! My mom and sister have a few of them so I can still take pics. Taking out all of my paintings makes me want to start painting again.
I love your paintings! They’re so beautiful! You have them displayed, beautifully, too!
Thanks Sarah!! I love doing gallery walls. They make such an impact.
What great art! I especially love the first painting. I really like your art gallery walls above the sofa and tv. They are very pleasing to the eye.
Awww! Thanks. I was a little nervous exposing my own paintings to the world wide web. That floral painting I painted in under 30 min bc I was so impatient for the coats to dry. lol I like how “impressionistic” it looks.
I love the gallery walls! I am in lust over the gold frames, too 😉
Mm huh! Gold and white!! Love it. THanks for the sweet comment.
I just love all of your artwork and I can imagine how hard it would be to display them all. The picture display above your sofa is lovely!
Thanks so much Alli!! My favorite photo in that display is my grandmother on a windmill.
These are all so beautiful! Absolutely beautiful…
Thanks Tiffany!! So sweet of you to say so. 🙂
The flamingo is beautiful! And, totally appropriate for my Florida home!
Thanks! Did you see the link to the free printable? I think I like that one even more!
