Hi there!! I have another room plan for you today.  As soon as we found out we were moving and before I even knew where we would be living, I started dreaming up ways to decorate our new house.  I thought we would be able to paint the walls but that isn’t the case in our new rental.  So a few of my “dreamed up” rooms needed to be rethought;  like the kitchen, my son’s room, and our bathrooms.  When we did the walk through of the house I immediately had inspiration for the kitchen and bathrooms.  The only room I was unsure of was our master bedroom.  After my impulse buy last week, that room is quickly coming together.  (You can see the inspiration board and bed here.)   My daughter’s room on the other hand, I knew exactly what I wanted to do for decor and design.

Here is what her room currently looks like. 

Most of the items that are in the inspiration board we already have or at least a similar item.  The upper right corner is a fabulous print I bought awhile ago for our last house.  It has been the jumping off point for the rest of the room.

The other side of the room is two large closets that I shared last week with you.  You can find the closet organization tips here.  I’m happy to say, they are working out splendidly.

There really aren’t other options for the room layout without blocking the window so it will remain the way it is.  As soon as our last household goods shipment arrives, I can start putting the rest of her room together.  Of course, my daughter and I will have to find some local Okinawan treasures to add to it. 🙂

This will be a big change from her previous bedroom!
