DIY Notebooks with GraphicStock
This post is sponsored by GraphicStock. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This fun little project cost only $4. I found three notebooks at the 100 Yen Store (the dollar store here in Japan) and also grabbed a glue stick.
Using pretty patterns from GraphicStock, I added overlays to create sweet labels and fun little book backs. You can download and print them for your personal use below. The heart notebook would make a sweet Valentine’s gift. I was thinking about Mother’s day when I created the floral notebook. The blue notebook for notes is perfect for writing down post and project ideas. I have to say, all three look super cute on my desk!
Here’s what you need:
Printables (see below)
Paper cutter or ruler and scissors
Dollar store notebooks
Craft glue stick
How to:
Step one : Cut down the printable so that the label is centered and the edge of the page (left side for the front and right side for the back) should meet up with the binding. Leave a 1/4-1/2 inch overhang around the other three sides. Step two: Cover the front of the notebook with glue and press your top page firmly in place.
Step three: Open the front flap of notebook and lay flat. Cut the corners at an angle (see picture below). This time apply glue to the exposed page overhang, fold over, and press out any wrinkles.
Repeat step three on the upper and lower overhangs. Let dry! Cover the back the same way.
Aren’t they adorable? Here’s the heart and floral notebook backsides.
