Easy Bathroom Art
Easy Bathroom Art in 5 minutes or less. Create a modern piece of art with sharpies for the bathroom and a renter friendly solution for hanging.
Konichiwa and howdy (I officially have some local readers!). We spent a lovely afternoon yesterday hiking up castle ruins and a nature park with an observation tower. Both places had wonderful views of our little city. Now I believe the rumors of how hot and humid it can get in Okinawa. With ocean views everywhere you turn, it’s still worth getting out and about.
I created an easy bathroom art piece last week for our upstairs bathroom (you can see the room tour HERE). It needed a little art over the toilet. I knew I wanted something black and white so I decided to create it myself.
Easy DIY Modern Bathroom Art
Here’s what you need:
- Cardstock or construction paper
- Black and Copper sharpies
- Ruler
How to create modern art:
Use the ruler as a guideline and draw six rows of arrows (facing up). For a little fun, I created one arrow with the copper sharpie.
Frame it!
If you are hanging your new art on bathroom tile. Try sturdy velcro strips to eliminate holes in the tile and for a renter friendly solution.
It’s just what the bathroom needed!
I absolutely love hanging art in the bathrooms. Just be careful your bathroom is well ventilated if you hang watercolors or photography.
Oil paintings or a pairing of trays or baskets or more suited for moist bathrooms. (Hence my easy bathroom art!)

I’m playing catch-up with your blog! Looks great & so simple! What did you use to hang the frame? I need to try this for my bathroom. =)
You’re funny. I used the heavy duty Velcro strips. About a 2 inch piece in each corner. I don’t think it’s going anywhere…
I love this Kathy!
Thank you Iris! xoxo
