Inexpensive Flowers for the Home
Do you love having fresh flowers in your home as much as I do? They make such a difference in any space. It doesn’t matter if your house is perfectly put together or not, flowers just brighten the room.
Here are tips for getting your money’s worth from fresh flowers for your home.
Inexpensive Flowers for the Home
When looking for flowers, try purchasing bunches that are not already arranged. Our super market has 3 bunches for $12. I picked spider mums, hydrangeas, and a purple spray.
Go outside for filler branches. Cut a few small branches or stems that look pretty and are full of leaves. I found some leafed branches from azalea, magnolia and other bushes.
Shop around the house for pretty containers. You don’t necessarily need vases. Pretty glasses, candle holders, pitchers, and other decorative pieces work wonderfully.
Divide up your filler branches among your containers.
Remove leaves from your flowers and cut the stems to an appropriate length. Add 2 or 3 type of prepped flowers to each vase. The fillers will take up quite a bit of space so you can spread out your flowers more.
Spread them throughout your home and enjoy!!
