Find inspiration for colorful and eclectic rooms with a collection of One Room Challenge reveals featuring bedrooms, living spaces, bathrooms, and outdoor spaces.

Hi there!  I wasn’t able to participate in the One Room Challenge this go around but I absolutely enjoyed watching my fellow bloggers and friends complete dramatic room makeovers.  If you are unfamiliar with the challenge, participants have 6 six weeks to completely transform a space.    I participated when we were in Okinawa and made over our rental kitchen.  It really is an amazing experience!

Here are some of my favorites from the most recent ORC that just ooze colorful eclectic decor and style.  Go bold or go home!  They will definitely be my inspiration when we move into our next house later this year.

Colorful and Eclectic Dining and Living Rooms

Jeweled Interiors transformed her living spaces with bold colors and prints and her amazing thrifted finds in the bold and the beautiful entertaining space.  You would never believe it’s a rental!

Domicile 37 shared her breakfast area and hallway reveal  featuring signature moody colors and vintage quirky finds that gives such a curated aesthetic.  Check out her hallway for a fantastic bright pop of color!

Love and Renovations created a bright and colorful small dining room with a super fun print and all the pretty colors.  Head over to see more of this gorgeous space.

Jest Cafe shared an oasis dining and kitchen reveal but it’s even more than that.  Every inch has fantastic details spotlighting warm hues, prints, and details.

Amidst the Chaos shared an eclectic family living space  that totally speaks to my style.  Color, plants, modern art and furniture with classic lines in a bright space, yes please!

Colorful and Eclectic Office and Library Rooms

I absolutely enjoy discovering new to me bloggers when I’m perusing these fantastic before and afters and Marilynn Taylor totally caught my eye with a dark and moody office.  The mural on the wall is just one of the lovely features in this transformed space.

I’m really hoping to create a library in our next home and have been collecting ideas for what spaces can be used.  Carley Brandon Designs’ stairway library gallery wall  is a great example of making the most out of small spaces.  Make sure to click over to see all of the art too.

Colorful and Eclectic Bedrooms of all shapes and sizes

Yes, another mural!  I absolutely love how magical this space feels and it does not lack pops of color and pretty patterns.  Don’t miss the full tour of Stevie Storck Design Co.’s eclectic nursery. 

I’ve been reading Monica Wants It for a few years now and have watched her overcome rental obstacles to create beautiful homes.  But now that her sweet little family owns a home, she is totally blowing me away.  Check out her black, white, and gold master bedroom with chinoiserie touches and classic lines.  (Come do my house in Texas, okay Monica?)

I’ve always admired Jennifer from Dimples and Tangles knack for using bright colors with b&w.   She updated her teen girl’s bedroom with a perfect blend of patterns, styles, and chic finishes.  Isn’t it fun?

Colorful and Eclectic Bathrooms

I can see myself doing something similar to our next bathroom like The Naked Decorator did with a builder basic to a sophisticated guest bathroom.    Jewel tones, gold finishes, and bright patterns with modern artwork is a beautiful combination.

Another daring makeover is Insieme House’s gold and dramatic jewel box bathroom.    It almost has a funky British Colonial vibe to it, right?  Gorgeous and so interesting!

Colorful and Eclectic Outdoor spaces

This patio makeover is also at a rental property.  It’s color palette definitely has a Florida vibe and I love seeing At Home With Ashley’s signature blush pink.  Make sure to see the full Palm Beach chic patio reveal! 

There’s a lot of eclectic colorful goodness with a New Pair of Wings’ a little bit of boho outdoor makeover but my favorite part is the swan float in the pool!  I think I squealed when I saw him.  Head over for some lovely patio inspo!

I’m just so excited for our move this summer and can’t wait to get my hands on a house that I can actually paint!  These colorful and eclectic spaces are gorgeous inspiration for my favorite style.  I hope you enjoyed them as much as I did.
