Witches Tea 2014
Find Witches Tea decorating ideas and DIYs including a witches brew station -drink recipes, dining room tablescape, living room decor, and free printables.
Out came my Halloween decorations last week just in time for my 5th Annual Witches Tea. Every October I ask my darling witchy friends to grab their black hats and join me for an afternoon brunch or a morning tea.
This year the halloween decor in our living room blended in seamlessly with everyday vignettes and styling. Our bookcase featured my DIY pumpkin tree and I added a few seasonal appropriate decor accessories and vintage prints of witches .
The dining room was the main feature with a witches brew station and black, white, and gold tablescape.
A white table cloth created the perfect backdrop for the witches brew vignette. I shopped the house for accessories appropriate for witches decor and included spray painted branches for my crows to perch on.
Cold Witches Brew Formula:
Mix 1/2 white wine with 1/2 gingerale, add in a few scoops of lime sherbet for bubbles and coloring. (Non-alcholic, mix gingerale and sherbet together.)
Hot Witches Brew:
Hot Apple Cider with Cinnamon Sticks (Optional Adult Beverage- add 1/2 ounce of Peppermint Schnapps in each tea cup)
Above the witches brew station is witch bunting I purchased on Etsy last year. The rest of the printables I created using picmonkey.
The tablescape included my DIY gilded pumpkins (you can find the tutorial here), cake stands, books, long tapered candles, and my free printables.
My sweet friends brought delicious treats to go with the witches’ brew. We enjoyed a game of Witches’ Scattergorgies after our snack.
If you want to host your own Witches Tea, you can find the printables HERE and other DIY Decor this week.

Love this! I always wanted to be a witch when I grew up and the Cold Witches Brew sounds so yummy!
Thanks Julia! I wasn’t allowed to go trick or treating when I was younger so now I’m making up for it. lol
Looks like a lot of fun! My friends and I have been getting together 4 times a year for 15 years, for our Black Hat Tea Society Teas. We decorate our witches hats for the different seasons and go to our favorite Tea Houses.
So much fun!! I might have to try something like that when we stop moving around so often. Love it!
