Friday Feature

Howdy! In honor of Memorial Day and to those who have given their lives in service to our country, today’s Friday Feature showcases  a room with the glorious colors of our Country’s Flag and one of my all time favorite spaces!

Here are five ways to apply this room to your space.

Use a neutral paint color and fabric choices on  larger pieces of furniture. This will allow other colors and patterns in the room not feel overwhelming.

If you have  seating in an open area (not against a wall), stools, benches, and other low profile furniture helps the space appear more spacious.

In smaller spaces, acrylic or glass coffee tables are a fantastic option for keeping the room from feeling to cluttered.

The patterns in this room work together so well because the designer used larger prints, mixed with stripes, geometric, and smaller scaled prints but kept it limited to two colors.

Adding in a little metallic (like the gold chandelier and curtain rod), is liking adding jewelry to an outfit. It makes it that much more glamorous. =)
