Friday Feature

Well, hello NYC! Yep, that is where I am right now but I haven’t forgotten about you! Today’s Friday feature is a fun bathroom from BHG.

For a quick upgrade to tile on the wall without redoing the entire bathroom, try removing a few single tiles.  Replace them with mosaics or colorful tiles for a custom look.

Matching sconces will give proper lighting for the bathroom vanity but don’t overlook a ceiling light.  Hanging a chandelier or pendent adds beauty and functionality.

In an all white bathroom,  a brightly patterned shower curtain can add personality.  Be careful in smaller bathrooms, using a saturated color will make the space feel smaller.

A fresh coat of paint, especially a nature inspired color, will liven the bathroom without it feeling overwhelmed.

Instead of placing a predictable bath mat on the floor, try using a bamboo mat or a decorative rug to add warmth to an all white floor.
