Add global eclectic style to your decor with a gorgeous DIY bohemian wreath for the holidays in 3 easy steps. Part of A Very Global Christmas.
Hi there. We’ve made it to Day 10 of A Very Global Christmas! If you are new to the series, my friend Casa Watkins Living and I are sharing 12 days of globally influenced DIYs and decorating ideas. You can find them at A Very Global Christmas page. Today’s post is a DIY Bohemian Wreath that is super easy to make! So stick around and I’ll show you how I made it in 3 steps and for free.
DIY Bohemian Wreath
I love this idea becuase you really don’t need much to make it. If you have 3 extra floral stems laying around, you are good to go!
Here’s what you need for a DIY Bohemian Wreath:
- 3 floral stems (they can be flowers, leaves, or a mix!)
- Florist wire
- Gold spray paint
- Embellishment (wool balls, ribbon, greenery)
- I had an entire bin of extra floral stems. I like to reuse them in different wreaths and embellishment in seasonal decor. For this wreath you just need to bend a curve in the stems and attach the end to the top of another with wire until you have a circle. Tip: If you sprigs are uneven, trim off a few short stems and secure them in the holes with more wire. 2. Spray paint the entire wreath gold. One coat on each side should do it! 3. Hot glue on your embellishment. If can be three wool balls and a green stem for Christmas berries but pinecones and rose heads would look gorgeous too! Whatever you have in your crafting stash. 😉
Hang and enjoy!! Isn’t the simplicity of this DIY bohemian wreath darling?
I might make a few more because it adds Christmas cheer anywhere!
