Friday Favorites No 9

Hello! While we are waiting out Typhoon Chan-hom, I thought I would share a few pics from our trip to Kyoto for Friday Favorites.  We hit all of the hot spots; zen gardens, temples and shrines, bamboo forest, and monkeys!  Living in Japan is exciting! friday-favorites-no9SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSCSONY DSCSONY DSC

Other things I’ve enjoyed recently:

My Texan comes out when I see longhorns and this modern art piece made my heart sing. I love the impact it has in this living room.

Finding new DIY inspiration from DwellStudio.  I love you beautiful beetle box but my wallet does not! DwellStudio-Beetle-Box-D8.80125

Put Swan Lake, amazing decor, and pretty food together for a beautiful party.

This beautiful table setting has creative place card holders made from Clay Pots and Wooden Spoonsaka-design-dining-room

I can’t get over a Coastal Global vignette that Cassie set up for The Clover Barn.  It has me dreaming of large tropical plantations and Paul Newman movies.signature-clear

  1. Did you love Kyoto? We visited last year for a long weekend and while we crammed a lot in it just wasn’t long enough! We are somewhat thinking of doing a tour around mainland next year so hopefully we will get to go back then!

    1. Kyoto was amazing. Four days was a great amount of time to see everything we wanted to. We actually went back to our favorite places on the last day. 🙂
