Friday Favorites No 9
Hello! While we are waiting out Typhoon Chan-hom, I thought I would share a few pics from our trip to Kyoto for Friday Favorites. We hit all of the hot spots; zen gardens, temples and shrines, bamboo forest, and monkeys! Living in Japan is exciting!

My Texan comes out when I see longhorns and this modern art piece made my heart sing. I love the impact it has in this living room.
Finding new DIY inspiration from DwellStudio. I love you beautiful beetle box but my wallet does not! 
Put Swan Lake, amazing decor, and pretty food together for a beautiful party.
This beautiful table setting has creative place card holders made from Clay Pots and Wooden Spoons. 
I can’t get over a Coastal Global vignette that Cassie set up for The Clover Barn. It has me dreaming of large tropical plantations and Paul Newman movies.
Did you love Kyoto? We visited last year for a long weekend and while we crammed a lot in it just wasn’t long enough! We are somewhat thinking of doing a tour around mainland next year so hopefully we will get to go back then!
Kyoto was amazing. Four days was a great amount of time to see everything we wanted to. We actually went back to our favorite places on the last day. 🙂
