Girl’s Room Update!
Hello friends. 😉
Sorry I was MIA yesterday! My husband and I were celebrating our 9th anniversary. Although honestly, I just needed a little break after publishing posts for 13 days in a row. I really did miss you yesterday and am so excited for today’s official reveal of my daughter’s room! You have seen a little bit of it here and there but today is the whole shebang.
Girl’s Room Update
You can read how I decorated the headboard wall without spending a penny here. I love that I was able to create such a cute focal wall for free in her space!
You can find how I transformed the changing table into a dresser and gold leafed it here. She will be able to take this piece to college with her if she wants! The art is on the right is a print from Urban Outfitters and the print on the left was gifted by a very special friend. It’s a baby’s prayer at twilight for when her daddy is overseas. So sweet.
The lucky girl has a walk out balcony where you can hear the ocean. Not even our master bedroom has that!
This cute play kitchen came from grandma’s garage. It started out in a deep wood stain but I painted it white and filled in the carved lettering with black paint. It’s a nice storage unit for kitchen toys and other things.
The curtains started out has white curtain panels from Wal-mart but I wanted more length and color, so I added the hot pink linen color block to the bottom. Love them!!
The rug was my grandparents and I’m so glad I got to use it in this space. I just love mixing old with the new!
This vase and flowers made the transition from her nursery to the “big girl room”, they get played with almost daily, and still look great. Awesome!
Have a great Thursday,
Where do I start? Love the ruffle comforter, the art, the curtains, the dresser…..You did a great job Kathy!

Kathy,
Your little girls room is SOOOOO sweet!!! I love it! Would you mind telling where where you found the prints/painting/pictures you have above the bed? All those beautiful colors just caught my eye…
Hi Prim, thanks for the sweet comment. Those prints came from a 99 cent calendar at a used book store. (it was the previous year’s)
