Home Tour {Part One}
Welcome to our home! You may or may not know that we are renting a three story beach home on the coast of North Carolina. With that being said, I’m really happy about how our home is shaping home even though the only changes we were allowed, was to paint the bathrooms.
Home Tour
When you walk in… actually I don’t even know which door is the front, ha! (sliding door with a door bell and an “front door” on the screened in porch, at least we have choices) Anywho, you are on the 2nd floor and there is a L shape great room that includes the kitchen, dining, and living room. We’ll start there….
Kitchen and Dining Room
(the light fixture is from West Elm and it comes with us when we move!)
Living room
Now we will head downstairs. The family room is to the right and the laundry/organ/office is to the left. However, I will spare you the chaos on the left and only show you the family room. 😉
Downstairs
The Family Room
That is it for our living spaces. Come back tomorrow for part two of the home tour. Thanks for stopping by!
Your house looks so cozy! Love it! 🙂
Thanks Kristen! We think so!!
Beautiful home!
Thank you Angela, glad you we’re able to stop by! 😉
LOOOOVE your kitchen counters and table! I’ve never seen that color of countertops, it’s amazing!
Thanks Madison, I guess I’ve never seen aqua counters before either! 😉 I painted our front door the same color. The table is from World Market if you are interested.
Gorgeous! I love all the frames and the ombré paint job on the desk drawers!
Thanks Andriana!! Both of those projects were true labors of love!! lol
Hello! I’m Caden, I am babbling on and on about various n’sundry things over on blogger. I found your page through Southern Blog Group, I’m rather new. Now, I’ll tell ya – I tried to do my research before asking this but it wasn’t mentioned in the “About Me”. You live in that house? IT IS GORGEOUS. Now. Do you have kids? Because if you do…and your house looks like that….then I’ll wake up and face the day easier. I’ll be smilin’ and noddin’ as I strut through the house thinking to myself “It’s okay, just a litttteeeee more longerrrr before spreading things on the floor isn’t as cool as they thought it was” and breath easy. Looks so perfect, Whoo-HA!
LOL, I know who YOU are just by the way you talk!! I love that you have a “unique voice” and it’s great for branding your blog. 😉 Yes, my 4 and 8 year old, husband, and a dog all live in this house. Toys stay upstairs in the kids rooms for the most part but I have large baskets that live on the stairs for anything that doesn’t belong in that room. We are just another military family that moves every three to four years but I LOVE DECORATING!! So glad to have you join SGBC and I know your blog is going to be so much fun to follow Caden!! Thanks for stopping by.
