House Crasher- Texas Style
House Crasher: Texas Style
I promised to show you a home tour of my sister’s house. She had a recent break in at her apartment and her boyfriend insisted that she move in with him. He’s a sweetie pie! They combined their belongings which included antiques, hand me downs, and a few new items. The outcome is a warm, cozy living space they both enjoy coming home to everyday.
Living Room: Really cute lamps and I love the white nesting tables from IKEA, they are a nice to way to add contrast to a traditional/eclectic style.
She styled the fireplace mantle with a few recycled items and white flowers from TJ Max.
Office/Piano Studio
Here’s a little coffee table makeover that I worked on while my sister was teaching. When I painted it, I kept the feet the original black paint. The knobs my sister picked out at World Market.
The chevron lamp camp from Target and matches the coral pillow. The white leather desk chair is from World Market.
Master Bedroom
She later finished this room, here is how it looks now!
Guest Room 1
The colors of the Agatha Christie book series are really pretty to look at.
It is so much fun to see how my sister’s style evolves. She is becoming quite the little decorator!
Looks like a totally different house. Great job
Dana is turning into quite the little decorator!!
Thanks for the home tour. I loved seeing all the details that make your house a home.
Thanks Meegan, I just loved staying in the blue and white guest room all summer. It was so cozy!
Beautiful place. They both have some nice pieces. Did they repaint or were those his colors?
The tan walls were already there. The dark plum behind the fireplace my sister painted and carried it into the kitchen. She also added an aqua wall to her piano studio and a deep charcoal wall to the master bedroom that I want to share soon. Thanks for the sweet comment.
