New Bedding

Sometime in January, Lush Decor contacted me and let me select a quilt to use in our new home.  I chose one with colors that I knew would fit in our new island lifestyle and  am so happy with the outcome.  I showed you the first update of our bedroom last week and you might have noticed how much white was in the space. 

I love white bedding but I wanted to add a pop of color and more layering.  I chose this beautiful quilt from Lush Decor called Royal Empire (which is quite fitting for an Okinawan home).

It is reversible with a mixed pattern on one side and a solid pattern on the other.  You might have spotted it when I shared it on the inspiration board for our master bedroom.So here we are now, with our new bedding on loaner furniture.  It livens the room nicely without being too busy!  (We are still patiently waiting for that fabulous gold canopy bed frame.)  UPDATE: It’s our bedroom with the gold bed frame.

I love how the blue hues match my DIY Spring throw pillow  perfectly.

The quilt is light weight which makes it practical for layering.  In fact it’s been the perfect temperature at night using the new quilt with a blanket.

It was a difficult deciding which bedding I wanted to use in our room but I’m very pleased with the one I chose.
