A Classy Halloween Foyer

|

Use decor around your house with saturated colors and pops of black and white to create a classy and eclectic Halloween foyer.

Greetings friends.  I hope the week started off great for you.  I can’t believe it’s already in the middle of October and I’m actually sharing my Thanksgiving table at Over the Big Moon next week!!  Super happy about how lovely it turned out.

Last week I shared neutral Fall and Halloween decor in our living area and kitchen with pops of black and white.  If you missed it, you can find it HERE.   Today, I wanted to share our Classy Halloween foyer with you.

Our foyer is fairly large and with a wall of built in cabinets and bookcases, it’s super fun to change around for the holidays.  I started by turning my color coded books backwards for a more neutral start.  Then I searched my house for purple, orange, and black and white items to style with.

I found black and golds skull at our “dollar tree”.  They are really the only spooky things in the foyer vignette.  Daphne loves to play dress up so I put a gold mask on her with black beads and one of my grandmother’s pearl necklaces.

A wicked printable (which you can HERE) and some vintage accessories (taken off my husband’s desk) plays into the colorful but classy Halloween vignette.

My favorite little art DIY, was using gold tape for stripes on black card-stock.   I love switching out artwork during the holidays and different seasons.

Another seasonal printable sits beside it with some of my DIY velvet pumpkins, William Shakespeare, and Edgar Allen Poe.  A lovely mix. 🙂

This picture shows how the foyer is laid out.  It really is a nice space.
