Nordic Inspired DIY Wrapping Paper
I’ve been using the same colors of craft paint for my DIYs this year and this one is no different. I decided to create a stencil using my DIY Scandi ornaments as inspiration.
I drew an outline of the ornament shape and cut it out with my crafting knife. The shape was simple enough if draw out in ovals and circles!
You can use the stencil to fill in the space or just trace the outline and fill in free hand.
After stenciling one, I traced the others and painted them in which was much quicker.
For a different pattern, I free handed stars in the same colors. The ornaments and starts painted gift wrap definitely have a bit of a retro feel. Totally fun and go perfect with my tinsel tree and vintage ornaments.
They only took minutes to do so if you are looking for something quick and easy, this would be perfect!
For our larger tree I used black ribbon to dress up store bought paper and to tie into the tree decor.
So if you don’t want to mess with paint, you can have a cohesive look by using the same ribbon with a mix of patterns and colors. And the ribbon looks so chic!
