DIY Succulent Place Cards
Hey there! I just have a few minutes today (the kids are keeping me busy!) so I’m going to share a super quick DIY.
DIY Succulent Place Cards
Recently I put together a neutral table setting with a mix of real and faux plants, bamboo plates, and woven placemats. The faux succulents looked cute sitting on the plates, I had aha! moment. Well, at least I impressed my husband. Here’s what I did!
The dollar stores here (100 Yen store) are amazing. I’m constantly finding spot on decor and getting ideas for DIYs so I wasn’t surprised to find exactly what I needed for DIY Succulent Place Cards. Don’t you love dollar store crafts? Score!
All you have to do to create this DIY is personalize ceramic pots with your guests’ names using a dry erase marker.
Totally rad. I LOVE simple and cheap projects like this.
The dry erase marker is a cinch to erase.
I placed the DIY succulent place cards on my no-sew napkins. You can find the tutorial for the cloth napkins HERE.
Since my kitchen already has such a strong focal point with floral kitchen cabinets (such a fun combination of words! you can find them HERE), I like to keep the table settings simple and clean for everyday use.
The succulents and aloe pair perfectly with my mint color-block chairs.
My husband is out of town so the kids and I are having a slumber party. Since we have limited options for watching American shows, Amazon prime has been a great distraction. We’ve really enjoyed one show in particular, Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street. Ever heard of it? If you need a family series, with good acting and good morals, this one is fantastic!
Okay, time to pop some pop corn!! Let’s catch up tomorrow.
