Friday Favorites No 2
Happy weekend! I wanted to share some pictures from our visit to Shuri castle with you.
Friday Favorites No 2
The city of Shuri used to be the capitol for the Ryukyu Kingdom and now is part of Naha. In 1945, during the Battle of Okinawa, the castle was almost completely destroyed. It was reconstructed in the beginning of 1992. The castle and ground are fascinating to walk through (most of it barefoot of course!). We had a fun little scavenger hunt for stamps at different stations throughout.
The views are amazing from Shuri!
Other things I’ve enjoyed recently:
Homemade by Carmona has some beautiful ways to display Easter eggs (and gorgeous Easter eggs!).
I love the DIY Wire Basket coffee table inspired by CB2 from The Makerista.
Sarah M. Dorsey Designs dining room update with Chippendale chairs and a renter friendly wall.
A lovely new illustration of Amsterdam from Fabric and Color.
Have a fun weekend,
