Good morning! Today’s “special post” for my first blogiversary week is some fun facts and stats.  You are the first to see these numbers but I will be posting a media kit next week,  so hopefully the whole world-wide web will soon know! 😉

Fun Facts and Stats

So now you know!!

Here’s a little more:

*I started utilizing Facebook right away when I started this blog but didn’t focus on Pinterest until recently.  In fact, over 100 followers  are from just the last two weeks!!

* I’m still uncomfortable with twitter, google +, and I don’t even remember how to login into Instagram.  Those are on my to do list but first I want to be a PINTEREST ROCKSTAR!

* The first comment I received (AND it was from someone I didn’t know!) was on 3/11/13 from Recreate and Decorated on this post. She said (and I quote) *giggle*, “I love the color combo, great job!”

*As far as blogger and WordPress skills go, I am self-taught.  I actually learned enough about HTML and CSS coding that I created a site from scratch before I discovered blogger.  Hours. Wasted…

*The first post I wrote was Color and Trend for 2013.

*My favorite part about blogging, besides doing what I love and then talking about it, is the community.  Here’s a special shout out to Southern Girls Blogging Community created by Prototype Mama! If you are a southern blogger and not a part of it, you should be!!!

Well now I feel a little exposed (I better get used to that) but I’m so excited about my future possibilities and success.
