A Modern Glam and Bohemian Winter Home Tour
Join the Eclectic Winter Home Tours for tons of winter home decor inspiration in a fun mix of styles. I’m sharing our foyer, bedroom, and living room!
Hi there! I’m thrilled to be joining in on Domicile 37’s annual Winter Eclectic Home Tour featuring holiday homes all week. This is our third year and it’s so much fun to compare how we decorated previous years to the current season. Since we are in a new house, all of my home tours this month have also been debuting rooms. Most recently I shared our piano and Christmas tree room and the living/dining area. Today I want to show more of our foyer and our Christmas master bedroom. Then for a little twist, a Christmas lights turned off tour. If you are coming from Au Petit Salon, welcome! I just love Ginny’s style and use of color and pattern.
A Modern-Eclectic Winter Home Tour with Glam and Bohemian Touches
You probably spotted this wreath last week. Our foyer is quite small but I managed to fit a Japanese cabinet with some of our global decor on the wall facing you as you enter.
When you come straight in you see our main living areas and a part of the gallery wall. The black cabinet is showcasing Christmasy colors with a buddha and Chinese medicine bottles from the jade market in Hong Kong and wood kokeshi dolls from Miya Jima, Japan. I placed a modern glass Santa close by.
To the left as you come in is just enough room for a primitive wood bench from Japan.
And the right is a gorgeous piece of art I shared last week. But here it is again! The pop of red definitely fits into the season.
And now for our master bedroom. I kept the holiday decor simple with a wreath decorated with dollar store trimmings and fairy lights hanging on the bed.
We have a new piece of art in here. My mother has been keeping it for me and it finally came home last week. I love how it seems traditional yet is a somewhat strange composition. The colors are perfect with our bedroom wall color!
There’s a few small ornaments in a brass bowl on my husband’s bedside table. And that’s it for Christmas decor in the bedroom. Very simple and easy but makes quite a statement I think!
A Glam and Bohemian Living Room
(with the Christmas lights off!)
It’s nice to have the lights off some days. The greenery really stands out. Here’s a look at our bedroom once more.
And in our living room. We sure are enjoying our new Tree Classics Christmas tree! You can read more about how I decorated it and some simple DIY ornaments.
My DIY Scandinavian inspired wreaths give off a ton of light when the candles and fairy lights are on. But they sure look lovely without.
I slowly added to the garland on the mantel as I’ve been decorating the last month. I really like how it turned out. It might even receive a few more embellishments before Christmas rolls around.
I hope you enjoyed our eclectic winter tour. Thanks so much coming by! Make sure to pop in tomorrow for even more eclectic holiday decor starting with my sweet and talented friend at The Rath Project! Scroll down to see all of the tours.

Love the wreath in the bedroom and the new painting.
Thank you mama!
Your mantel is absolutely incredible, and I am having a fit over those adorable kokeshi dolls. Happy Holidays, beautiful friend!
Thanks Erica! Happy New Year!
Kathy, Kathy, Kathy…you know someday we will meet, j/s. I love your style and how you incorporate seasonal decor into your home. You do it in such a classy way and I love it. Those 3 wreaths going down the door has to be my favorite wreath situation. It is all so gorgeous!
Thanks so much Jess. Happy New Year!
