Welcome back to The Global Styler. A monthly challenge for global inspired DIY, decor, and decorating tips. This month’s theme is patterns and my cohosts and I have summery global decor for you to try. My DIY is an easy dollar store moroccan inspired tray.
DIY Moroccan Inspired Tray
Since this is a long holiday weekend for us (Happy Canada Day and Happy 4th friend!) I needed something quick and easy to create. I had already found Moroccan style peel and stick tiles that I used in our rental bath but had a couple left over. So I decided to create a moroccan inspired tray. It’s the perfect quick DIY and only cost me $2 and 5 minutes!
All you need is a small unfinished tray. I found mine at the 100 yen store.
Paint it with left over paint! I chose metallic gold.
Center a couple of peel and stick decorative tile stickers in the middle. Aren’t these patterns great?
Trim the tiles if you need to with scissors for a good fit.
It’s a cute little tray for outdoor entertaining. We’ve been working on our Japanese garden with Buddha.
The global tray adds mixed patterns with bold hues for global eclectic style!
With this long holiday weekend, I’m glad this was quick and easy! Now I can enjoy my sparkling water outside with my family.
