Free Watercolor Fish Printable

Happy 4th my friend!  We’ve had such a busy and fun weekend exploring islands and animals in Japan.   I’m always a little home sick (for family and the US!) around holidays but so thankful I get to spend time with my kids and husband. I hope you are enjoying a pleasant holiday with family and friends and gorgeous weather.

Best of June and What’s to Come

The beginning of the month started with The Global Styler series.  My friends and I shared global tablescape ideas.  If you love eclectic, boho, or global decor you won’t want to miss out on this series!

I was super excited to invite you to our first official home tour in our traditional Japanese rental.   It was part of  the Eclectic Home Tour blog hop hosted by Domicile 37 .  Amazingly talented bloggers shared their homes all week so you can find lots of home inspiration!

Jess from Domicile 37 , Monica from Monica Wants It , and I gave our best renters tips for the dining room/space.  If this is your first time to the series, you can get caught up on the best rental hacks for the bedroomliving room, and kitchen.  As a military spouse who moves frequently, I’m definitely passionate about sharing rental decorating ideas.

The month ended with the Inspired by DIY challenge.  I usually get so much accomplished with this series!!  Our inspiration for last month’s post was from fashion icon/actress Sarah Jessica Parker.  I just love her NYC home and took her causal and chic fashion and design sense to help me decided on renter friendly wallpaper and prints for our dining area.

For this month,  I’m participating in the $100 Room Makeover hosted by Erin from Lemons, Lavender, and Laundry.  I’ll be sharing updates each week for our bathroom but more on that tomorrow.

We are taking a long summer trip but I’ll keep you updated on new home decor and DIY happenings.

Have a wonderful day and I’ll catch you tomorrow!
