Good afternoon readers!

This is my third day in the beautiful state of Washington visiting my friends, Jamie and Kevin, while my mother and sister watch my children in the hot state of Texas.  God bless them!  I would have almost welcomed the drizzly 59 degree weather yesterday if I had dressed warmer but still had an amazing day with my best friend.

We spent sometime in downtown Kirkland and enjoyed lavender mochas, great Thai food, and browsed cute little stores. My darling friend is six months pregnant and managed to wear me out. She’s a trooper!!

Recently she and her husband moved into an adorable home and decorated it with lots of color, gorgeous displays of their photography, and curated collections from their travels.  I should have them snap some pictures for you but right now I am the only one home so my phone picture skills will have to suffice.  Here is their living room…

And this lamp they had custom made on one of their many travels to the Greek Islands.

The old medicine bottles sitting on the hearth were discovered near Jamie’s grandmother’s farm in TX.
