Hello, hello! It’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve shared a DIY so I thought it’s time. I’ve been working on some Anthropologie inspired projects (while my best friend is here visiting me in Japan!) and they have turned out so cute and cost pennies to make. Today’s Anthro DIY are macrame tassel plant hangers inspired by Anthropologie’s Liliana hanging pot.
An Easy Anthropologie DIY Decoration
Have you heard of Daiso or the 100 yen store? I’ve mentioned them numerous times here on the blog because they are amazing for finding crafting supplies and decor for DIY projects. Well, there are also stores that carry 300 yen items (a little under $2!) and last week I found a pot with a macrame holder at one.
I also had a second macramé plant holder from Daiso and tassels at the house. The second pot I snagged for a couple of dollars from a local thrift store.
Create a DIY Anthro inspired plant hanger.
Hang your pot and add tassels in the same hue or warm/cool family for a color blocking boho style hanger.
I tried a couple of faux trailing plants and potted plants.
Aren’t they cute?
Macrame Plant Hanger Display Ideas
- If you are unable to hang them from the ceiling, try hanging one in a open door frame.
- Hang one over a cabinet door, shutter, or corner of a tall piece of furniture.
Once we move back to the States, I’ll probably replace the faux plants with live ones. I sure do adding greenery to the house! What do you think? Do you like Anthropologie’s boho style?
