Baby and Decor
So February was a fantastic month for the kiddos and me because we were able to travel to Texas for two weeks. (Which made my sweetie’s deployment a little easier to bear.) I’m sure you’ve heard me mention my pregnant twin? Well, the baby came. In about 10 minutes too! She’s the cutest little thing. I’m so proud and happy for my twin sister and her husband. We welcomed her into the world just days after we flew in from Japan. I took A TON of pictures and got permission to share a few with you. 😉 Who doesn’t like baby pictures?
Here’s my first attempt at a newborn photoshoot. I’m one proud “Tia”.
Totally cute, right? She only weighed 6lbs!
My sister did a beautiful job decorating their house. It’s funny, since we are twins, we were always dressed alike except that my sister always wore blue or purple and I wore red or pink. Now her decorating style always features blue as her signature color. Love it. (Sorry for the picture quality.) Here are some of my favorite spots.
The guest room I stayed in.
The master bedroom has an impressive layout. Love this dresser from our grandparents’ old house.
A sitting area in the bedroom. I want one of those!
The bed still needs a headboard but the focal point is definitely the gold peacock feather wallpaper.
The dining room is my absolute favorite! The blue walls contrast so beautifully with soft-lace curtains and an amazing rug.
Here’s baby’s room. Light gray wall with red and blue accents.
And an interesting shot of the living room looking into the dining room.
They’ve taken a lot of “Texas” out of the house but want to do more down the road.
Now that March is here (and Easter around the corner!), are you ready for seasonal handmade decor ideas? Let’s get “Spring” started!! See you tomorrow. (Want Spring inspiration now, click HERE.)

Such precious baby pics and your sister’s home is fabulous too.
Thanks Marty!
