Bathroom and Laundry Room Update
Hello there! It’s always nice to come back home after a long trip but now that home is halfway across the world, it gets harder to say goodby to friends and family, especially when a new niece has just arrived. I’ll share a little more about our trip with you tomorrow (I did a lot of decorating and newborn baby-sitting!)
Last month I revealed our laundry/bathroom for our New Year New Room Refresh and was happy to receive my last shipment from one of our sponsors, Lamps Plus with the last few decorating items when I returned from the States.

I’ve been anxiously waiting to include the marbled box, shell picture frame, and floral arrangement in the room decor but before I share those pieces with you, here’s a quick recap of the New Year New Room Refresh challenge.
Weeks 2 and 3 I came up with a crazy cool way to hide washing machine and dryer cords and hoses and shared my frugal styling tips for the bathroom.

I had a blast showing you the reveal the following week. It’s such a relaxing space that I actually take my time to do laundry now.
New Room New Room Refresh: Reveal
Here’s how I styled the Lamps Plus items into the space. The marbled wood jewelry box (with practical storage) sits on our cabinet shelf and plays beautifully with the burled wood frame from Framebridge. The pretty floral arrangement adds soft contrast to the little vignette which you see when you come into our foyer or when you pass through to the laundry/bathroom.
The third accessory from Lamps Plus is a mother of pearl picture frame that I turned into a DIY botanical art with origami paper and faux leaves. It’s kind of a quirky piece but the perfect size for over the hand towel rack (which is oddly high). I’m completely smitten over the mother of pearl frame.
All of the accessories that I picked from our generous sponsors would do well in any room and I can’t wait to play with different arrangements when the decorating bug bites me again. (Which is always sooner rather than later. 😉 )
