Holiday greetings friend!! Are you ready for Christmas in July? Crank up your AC’s, make some hot chocolate, and curl up under a blanket. Let’s have fun touring Christmas homes for a refreshing alternative to that summer heat!
Christmas 2015 was my favorite Christmas yet (in terms of holiday DIYs and Decor). I shared many DIY posts and home tours last year so I thought it would be fun to give you a little bit of everything.
Christmas in July Home Tour
The only red and green Christmas decor was on the front door. One of these years, I’m going to surprise us all with a traditional red and green Christmas! In the meantime, I love mixing metallics and other sublime colors like pink and copper among a lot of neutrals.
I repurposed old ornaments to give our tree a facelift and added inexpensive copper tinsel for a feminine and chic look.
Our little kitchen table was adorned with vintage bamboo servingware, silk pink Japanese textiles, and natural bamboo plates against white china. Isn’t all of the texture and color fun?
I added a little winter holiday decor in our master bedroom and bath. This year, I’ll have to do more!
Wasn’t that fun? Can’t wait to see the rest of the Christmas tours below. Will you join me?

Aw! Thanks so much Jess. It’s weird having a Christmas here. You don’t see any house lights or very much decor in stores.

Absolutely beautiful Kathy!!! I love how you use copper and those ornament makeovers are so cute! I eager to see how you do Christmas this year. 🙂

Thanks Steph! I wish we knew if we are going to be here or mainland. Still waiting for an answer!

Kathy, you are a pro at making neutrals pop with subdued colors and textures. Your home is magazine worthy for sure, and I must say I am so jealous of your bamboo flatware. I keep hoping to find a vintage set like yours. Thanks for participating in the blog hop!

Aw! Thanks Monica. I found the set on Ebay.
