How to Dress Up Store Bought Cupcakes for Christmas
Save yourself some time and stress by dressing up store-bought cupcakes with holiday flavors like hazelnut, raspberry, and mint for Christmas!
Hello, hello! A Very Global Christmas series is at Day eight and Stephanie from Casa Watkins Living and I thought it would be great to share some easy entertainment ideas. I came up with a hack for store-bought or boxed cupcakes to make them look festive and gourmet for the holidays! If you have missed any of our previous posts, you can find them at A Very Global Christmas page.
Hazelnut, Raspberry, and Mint Cupcakes the VERY Easy Way
I picked up some plain vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with icing at my local grocery store. With just a few added ingredients, you would never guess they were store-bought!
For holiday flavors, use chopped hazelnuts, raspberries, and mint leaves. You can also embellish the cupcakes with fancier paper cups.
I love to layer in home decor and that’s pretty much how I tackle entertaining. So first, place the cupcakes in prettier cups (optional). Sprinkle on chopped hazelnuts.
Add a raspberry off-centered to each one.
Pinch off mint leaves leaving a little bit of stem so you can stand them upright in the icing to finish off your pretty cupcakes!
Aren’t they festive and perfect for Christmas? Oh! They also taste delish.
You can garnish your plate with more mint leaves or other holiday embellishments like small ornaments, bells, holiday confetti….
Store them in the fridge if you aren’t serving them right away!
