Easter table for two
Hello! I apologize for not posting yesterday. I gave myself a day off since my Spring Wreath with Zinnias was posted Saturday. (By the way, you still have 5 days for a chance to win some awesome crafting supplies!) We had a fun busy weekend. The kids and I discovered a beautiful park with an overlook tower that we enjoyed a sushi picnic at. My friend and I went to hear Bach’s Passion in Japanese Sunday night performed by a chamber choir, orchestra, and pipe organ.
There’s not a lot to share today but I’m happy to announce we have a kitchen table that I found for free. YAY! I have already bought paint to refinish it which will hopefully happen this week. Today, I put together a little Easter table for two. The table is square with two leafs that fold down. It’s the perfect size for our little Japanese house.
The table setting was created with gold chargers (from a thrift store), ikea plates, West Elm cloth napkins, and 100 yen store lotus bowls.
I picked up a cute white vase for under a dollar that’s the perfect size for my grocery store flowers.
We have recently discovered a sweet, little bakery right around the corner. My favorite are the green tea croissants.
The Okinawans are big on sweets. Sweet shops are everywhere.
With ocean views from the kitchen window, it’s the perfect little set up for Easter brunch!

My daughter begged me to take a picture of her for “my blog”. So here she is with her “pretty” smile.
I thought the toothy rabbit grin was appropriate!
What a beautiful little girl. Tell her I love her. And so good to hear about the sweet shops. Makes me want to come soon. I love the table for two. It is beautiful.
Thanks! We’ll have to visit one! Can’t wait for you to get here.
