This month’s print is a cute watercolor cactus art with a cheeky message just in time for Valentine’s day. I think it would also be adorable as bedroom art! You can print it out as an 11×14, 8×10, or greeting card.
Best of January (and the beginning of February) and what’s to come!
The biggest accomplishment of last month was The New Year New Room Refresh challenge where I transformed my daughter’s traditional Japanese room into a global boho chic bedroom. I shared some interesting posts along the way like decorating challenges of living overseas and some easy and inexpensive DIYs. You can follow along this fun challenge with the following posts and make sure to click through to see all the participating bloggers!
Week 1: Global Bohemian Bedroom Design Inspiration for a Girl
Week 2: How to prep for a room makeover with easy tips
Week 3: An Easy Furniture Update for Global Chic Style
Week 4: Decorating Challenges of Living Overseas and How to Overcome Them
Week 5: A Beautiful Dollar Store Wall Hanging for Your Boho Home
Week 6: Global Bohemian Bedroom Makeover for a Girl
My friends and I have shared two globally inspired decorating tips and DIY posts since December. For January we shared how to transition from Christmas to winter Decor. I know your Christmas decor is probably put away but you can still find some easy and free decorating tips and tricks for the chilly season!
February each of us shared a different Valentine’s Day meal idea with a DIY. I created a dollar store tribal inspired LOVE letters centerpiece for a heart and flamingo sushi lunch.
One more fun winter themed post you might have missed! I participated in a Apres Ski tablescape blog hop hosted by PMQ for Two. Try this fun winter themed idea for your next dinner party.

What’s to come
Wow! That might be the longest monthly review I’ve written. If you are still hanging out with me I’ll let you know what you can expect for the next couple of months!
We’ll be getting ready for Spring with a Spring tablescape blog hop, eclectic Spring home tours, and more decorating tips next month. While my mom was visiting I took a lot of pictures out in town so I may have a few more “Japanese and military-life” related posts for you but they will still be centered around decorating and DIYs. I also have some BIG projects in the works that I’m super excited about and might be asking for your help soon.
My family and I might be going through a big change soon. I’ll keep you updated on that!
