Hi there!  Can you believe it’s already February?  Do you decorate for Valentine’s day?  I usually don’t do too much red and pink but I love adding subtle hints of romantic flare for the holiday.   I’ve decided to start a new monthly post featuring a free subscriber printable and newsletter of sorts.  What better way to start February than with a favorite love quote?

The Best of January and What’s to Come

Now that I have you humming Night and Day,  let’s revisit the best DIYs, decor tips, and New Year’s challenges from last month.

I participated in 2 room makeover challenges.  First, was the $100 room makeover featuring renter friendly wall art with thrifted baskets.  

Second, the New Year New Room Refresh where I spruced up our rental Japanese kitchen with removable wallpaper and global eclectic accents! 

This year’s Love Your Space challenge was 31 days of styling inspiration on Instagram.  I had so much fun sharing my top tips and tricks for achieving a gorgeous vignette and so much great feedback from you!  Thank you!

I also was thrilled to have Emily from Small Stuff Counts share tips for making more time to decorate and I introduced her new ebook Crush Your Week.  There are so many great exercises, and it really made me think about what’s important and how I want to spend my time in my personal and blogging life!  It’s a fantastic book that will have you taking immediate action. 

February is going to be busy too!  There will be two new series starting this month.  One will be just for renters featuring your favorite bloggers best tips and DIYs for each room in the house.
