Hi there! Well, February snuck up on me and I just start thinking about Valentine’s day. Our wedding anniversary is right after the 14th so we usually don’t do much for the holiday. I do enjoy adding a Valentine printable art for easy decor and maybe a simple DIY Valentine idea like my tribal love letters which looked so cute with a sushi lunch embellished with flamingos.

I love using modern abstract graphics to create seasonal decor. Nothing that actually screams Valentine’s Day but if it looks good all year, its holiday message is subtle enough in my book. 😉
With these color options the display options are great! You could use the pink moon in a girls bedroom or bring that feminine color right out to your living spaces especially if you enjoy decorating for Valentine’s day with red and pink. I think the gold or black options would be lovely for an instant Valentine’s day vignette in the foyer or living room. Do you switch out seasonal art?
Do you have any plans for Valentines’ day or do you usually keep it low key? I’m attending a “red” luncheon at our local Women’s Club for the first time and am excited for the event. Usually I just wait for the family after school and work and give them treats. As a romantic at heart, it’s hard not to do something.

How do you clean the pine cones? I have lots of them but they are closed up but can you heat them? i hope this makes sense. Love your page,
You can bake them at a low temperature to kill anything inside them and they will open up. Be careful not to use too much paint or they will close back up. A couple of thin layers are better.
