Best of October and What’s to Come
The month started with The Global Styler Series where my co-hostesses and I shared DIY seasonal wreaths for Fall that are globally influenced. I created a fun and colorful global eclectic door hanging with supplies I had on hand. What I love most about this creative DIY is that you can use seasonal colors for a Fall wreath and hang feathers instead of a tassel or an ornament for Christmas. Isn’t its tear drop shape adorable?
I shared my newest and favorite books for home decor and DIY lovers in a interesting round up post. It makes for a great shopping guide and with the holidays around the corner, it’s the perfect time to start getting ahead on your gift list!
Here’s another versatile seasonal decor post. How to set an elegant and eclectic table for halloween. Just switch out the skulls for pumpkins and pinecones and you are all set for Thanksgiving! Plus, you can watch the tablescape being put together live with decorating tips.
Are you overwhelmed with accommodating friends and family for the holidays? Find tips and tricks for hosting overnight guests in small spaces and without a guest room. Suggestions for what to have on hand and how to create a cozy space included in this informative post. Trust me, I’ve had lots of practice!
Speaking of the holidays… I snuck in a Christmas post back in September but wanted to wait to share it. 😉 (I really do want to stay friends!) So my first Christmas DIY of the season are these gorgeous dollar store fan ornaments inspired by Japanese paper fans! Yep, I grabbed my supplies from the good ol’ “dollar” store (aka 100 yen store). Maybe they’ll inspire you to try some DIY ornaments this year!
