If you are new here, howdy! I’m a retired military spouse who moved back to Texas after being gone for 19 years.
I perfected the art of rental decorating and overcoming challenges in small spaces for over fifteen years but now am tackling homeownership with a new set of challenges!
Our family of four lived in some of the most beautiful coastal towns in the US and Japan which have influenced my colorful and global style with DIYs and furnishings in our one-story 60’s ranch-style home in Fort Worth.
This Thanksgiving print was inspired by a praise and worship song by Don Moen that has been around for ages. The words are a lovely reminder of what I’m thankful for this holiday season.
Give thanks with a grateful heart
Give thanks to the Holy One
Give thanks because He’s given Jesus Christ, His SonGive thanks with a grateful heart
Give thanks to the Holy One
Give thanks because He’s given Jesus Christ, His SonAnd now let the weak say, “I am strong”
Let the poor say, “I am rich
Because of what the Lord has done for us”And now let the weak say, “I am strong”
Let the poor say, “I am rich
Because of what the Lord has done for us”Give thanks with a grateful heart (with a grateful heart)
Give thanks to the Holy One (to the Holy One)
Give thanks because He’s given Jesus Christ, His SonGive thanks with a grateful heart (with a grateful heart)
Give thanks to the Holy One (to the Holy One)
Give thanks because He’s given Jesus Christ, His SonAnd now let the weak say, “I am strong”
Let the poor say, “I am rich
Because of what the Lord has done for us”And now let the weak say, “I am strong”
Let the poor say, “I am rich (I am rich)
Because of what the Lord has done for us”
Give thanks We give thanks to You
I’m also thankful to be able to do all of the fun things that come with the cooler weather. Did you catch my Fall bucket list last month? There are loads of activities for inside and outside your home with resources and guides for inspiration.
Thankful Printable Utensil Holder
To go along with the 8×10 “Give Thanks” printable are these cute Thanksgiving silverware holders that you can printout and make at home! I usually set a fancy table but I love adding a homemade touch with something fun like this.
In my book, you can mix any styles together so these would be great for dressing up plasticware with paper plates or keeping your fancy silverware from feeling too formal.
Just print out the template on regular 8 1/2×11 cardstock, cut in half, fold the pumpkins up, and secure the sides with a thin line of hot glue (on low heat) to create two utensil holders. Aren’t they cute? I just happened to have matching pumpkins on my table.
This post contains affiliate links for your shopping convenience to brands I love. You still pay the same price but I may earn a small commission.
On a side note, I seriously can’t live without this paper cutter and hot glue gun. They make crafting and printable decorations so easy! I was able to get six utensil holders made in minutes. I’ve been using these tools for years.
I created the utensil holder to be printed out on regular sized printer paper so it will be shorter than your silverware. You can fold a napkin in half and slip it inside the pocket leaving an inch past the top to make the entire utensil holder super cute on your place setting!
There’s nothing that says eclectic mix more than stacking fine Dresden china with a World Market salad plate, paper napkin, and bronze/brass bamboo flatware! I love how the layered seeing looks on the glass surface with a view of my covered FB marketplace chairs.
You can see how I used them in this year’s Thanksgiving decorations. I think you’ll also enjoy Fall decorating ideas on a budget and how I made the cute pumpkins that match perfectly with this set of Thanksgiving printables.
I don’t know about you but after early Fall decorating and Halloween decor I tend to keep my Thanksgiving decorations minimal with a few vignettes here and there. Christmas is already on the brain and my tree will be up before Thanksgiving weekend.
